1. Overview & Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile software application Reaction Maker - ReactionCam (the "Application"), developed and published by Corvas ("we," "our," or "Service Provider").
We are dedicated to building privacy-respecting, high-performance creator tools and utilities. We believe that your creative work, device files, and private inputs belong strictly to you. This document provides a declarative, transparent disclosure of how the Application handles device hardware, permissions, and diagnostic data.
2. Architecture & Data Handling Architecture
To avoid ambiguity, we explicitly delineate data handling across four distinct operational boundaries:
A. Personal Information Collected Directly by Developer
None. We do not require accounts, logins, email addresses, or personal profiles to use ReactionCam.
B. Data Processed Locally On Your Device (Never Uploaded)
All video recording, audio synchronization, camera overlay positioning, layout composition, trimming, and video file exports are executed 100% locally on your device hardware.
C. Data Transmitted to Our Backend
None. The app operates without uploading your videos, audio, or metadata to our servers.
D. Diagnostic & Advertising Data Collected Automatically by Third Parties
When you download and use the Application, standard operating telemetry may be generated by certified third-party SDKs (such as Google Play Services, Firebase Crashlytics, and Google AdMob). This may include anonymous device identifiers, Android OS build, hardware architecture, screen resolution, and crash stack traces.
Device Permissions & Data Access
To provide its core features, ReactionCam may request the following device permissions:
Purpose: Captures front-facing video overlay (facecam) while you record your live reaction to on-screen or imported content.
Data Handling: Processed entirely on-device in real-time. Video streams are rendered directly into local video files and are never streamed or uploaded to any remote server.
Purpose: Captures your voice commentary and live audio during reaction recordings.
Data Handling: Processed strictly on-device and multiplexed directly into your output video. Audio is never transmitted externally.
Purpose: Enables recording of device screen activity when creating reaction content over games, browsers, or other apps.
Data Handling: Local system video frames are captured only while recording is actively initiated by the user, and saved directly to device storage.
Purpose: Allows importing background/source videos to react to, and saving completed reaction videos to your device gallery.
Data Handling: Strictly local. All imported and exported media stays in your local device file system.
Third-Party Service Providers & SDKs
The Application relies on trusted third-party service providers solely for core functionality, advertising (where applicable), and app stability monitoring. These providers collect diagnostic or advertising device tokens according to their respective privacy policies:

3. Advertising & Commercialization
ReactionCam is supported by non-intrusive advertising (Google AdMob) in its free tier to support ongoing development and maintenance. Ad networks may collect anonymous advertising identifiers (Google Advertising ID) to deliver relevant or non-personalized advertisements based on user settings.

Third-Party Content & Intellectual Property
ReactionCam is a recording utility. Users are solely responsible for ensuring they possess all necessary rights, licenses, or fair-use justifications for any third-party videos, music, games, or media they record or react to. Corvas does not monitor or endorse user-generated videos.
Platform Non-Affiliation
ReactionCam is an independent production tool developed by Corvas. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitch, Meta, or any social media platform.
4. Data Retention, Local Storage & Deletion
Because the Application does not maintain user accounts on remote servers, your files, documents, settings, and outputs reside exclusively on your physical mobile device. You have absolute control over this data at all times:
- Local Deletion: You can delete exported files or documents at any time using your device's file manager or gallery.
- App Cache & Storage Reset: Navigating to Android Settings > Apps > ReactionCam > Storage > Clear Storage immediately purges all local cached data.
- Uninstall: Uninstalling the Application permanently removes all sandboxed preferences and internal application files.
5. Children's Privacy
The Application does not knowingly solicit or collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in applicable jurisdictions). If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information to third-party SDKs through the app, please contact us and we will assist in taking appropriate corrective steps.
6. User Rights (GDPR / CCPA / International Regulations)
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may hold specific legal rights regarding personal data, including rights of access, rectification, objection to processing, and erasure. Because we do not associate your use of the app with your identity, we cannot query or provide records tied to you. However, you can manage diagnostic and ad personalization preferences directly through your Android device settings (Google > Ads > Delete advertising ID).

We may periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect app updates, new platform guidelines, or legal obligations. Significant revisions will be reflected with a revised "Effective Date" at the top of this document.
